For Parents
Welcome to the new age where technology rules our lives. Where children no longer play with bits of wood or swings built by their parents but instead unpack their brand new game consoles and play against millions of other people worldwide. However there are still many parents who restrict the time spent on consoles and instead encourage their children to stay active, productive and best of all, creative!
Over the years cameras have appeared on virtually every mobile phone and camcorders can be purchased for tiny amounts. The users of these devices are also getting younger and younger. We say embrace it, not fight it. We now see kids filming themselves and their friends battling with robots, chasing each other round the house with foam dart shooters or performing cool tricks on the latest scooters.
We have seen these videos and some of them are amazing. Whatever the toy, there is always a new way to play with it. Kids have started asking for a place where they can share these videos and now they have one – WowTown.com.
The creators of WowTown.com all come from a toy manufacturer background and there was nothing we loved more than seeing kids playing and having fun with our products. Our aim is to inspire creativity and get children active, creating some cool videos of themselves and their toys in action and for us to give them a place to share this content.
WowTown.com is a safe, child friendly website for anyone under the age of 15 where nothing goes online without first being checked and approved by the WowTown.com staff. Think of it as the video site for kids. They can share their videos and comment on content created by others. And best of all they can win some great prizes!
We understand that the safety and privacy of your children is very important and so before any account is activated we require approval from a parent or guardian. However we also want to allow your children the freedom to post videos and comments without having to seek parent's approval every time they do so therefore the staff here at WowTown.com will monitor all content submitted so you don't have to worry.
We also comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
